It is 100% silk and it was so comfortable! I received a size medium in a quartz purple color. The color is so pretty! Love the color! The fit was nice as well! The top is a v-neckline and the bottoms have an elastic waist. The straps on the top are adjustable, which is very helpful. The bottoms look short, but me, being short (5' tall), it was fine! The fabric is very comfortable too. My husband loved that fact that it was something different that I was wearing to bed and the feel was so silky. I don't know how expensive other sets like this go for, but I was happy with mine. So many colors to choose from too! Great gift for a bridal shower!
